As many as 29 families living on the banks of Ria Rio Dam, Kayu Putih, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, have taken raffle numbers to occupy the Jatinegara Kaum Flat, Monday (11/17). A day earlier, 46 out of them had taken the number.

"Totally, 75 families have taken raffle numbers to occupy the Jatinegara Kaum Flat," said Head of Flat Region III Technical Management Unit for Housing and Government Buildings Department, Sayid Ali.

Ali disclosed those 75 families will occupy the Jatinegara Kaum Flat's Block A. While the rests are still waiting for metrication and covernote from local urban village and sub-district. The flat prepares 200 units for Ria Rio Dam citizens.

"Based on our data from urban village and sub-district, 104 families who will occupy the flat. While we also received data from citizens, there are 102 families. But only 29 of them were verified," he expressed.

From verification results, he explained, 13 families were already registered as occupants in Pinus Elok Flat. But they immediately crossed out as future tenants.

On Tuesday (11/18), raffling phase is planned to be done for people who have no raffle numbers. But it is only dedicated to those who already getting a recommendation letter from local urban village and sub-district. The number of families who take raffle numbers depending on the data sent by urban village/sub-district.

"If they have Jakarta ID card or family card and cover note from urban village/sub-district, they will be processed to join the raffling phase," he continued.

Meanwhile, citizens who do not get rations had to stay in the lobby of Jatinegara Kaum Flat. The entire household furniture, ranging from beds, cabinets, refrigerators, television, etc, stacked sloppily.

They sleep by setting up a mat or mattress. They cannot get in because having no recommendation letter.
